When we think of Grace, we think of LOVE.
LOVE that is for our church and for our community.
LOVE which is centered at the HEART of God.
When we think of Grace, we see people shaped by Christ’s LOVE for community, a LOVE shown most clearly on the CROSS that He bore for us so that we might know Him.
At Grace, everything begins and ends with the HEART - a heart bound by LOVE, a LOVE that connects us to one another and to our community. And that LOVE leads us to the CROSS.
That is why our LOGO brings together
- The HEART and the CROSS as one.
- The CROSS encompassing the HEART.
- A heart - not a perfect heart, but one that reflects a real love and care for all people.
Look closer, and you’ll see how the HEART is perfectly imperfect, one side elongated out of place (outstretched almost) imperfect, seemingly as it reaches out as we do here at Grace.
While the other is firm in place, the perfect half, centered on/at the cross, and together both different but complete as one.
Notice also that it forms the shape of a “B,” representing Brooklyn Park - the place where our story is rooted.
Two shapes. Two symbols. Both different, yet united as one.
That is who Grace is - a CHURCH where the HEART of God meets the HEART of our community, joined together at the CROSS.
